This book, while being a short read and taking more of a comical stance than you would expect on such a subject, was actually packed with quite a bit of information. A brief history lesson complete with multiple interpretations of the 2nd amendment from our founding fathers to today's court rulings on the matter. The author also touched on many ways that guns and other forms of self defense may be used and the potential consequences of our actions when we cause harm in the name of defending ourselves. Excellent read for anyone who owns a gun, wants one, has any feelings at all towards gun legislation, or maybe unsure about how to appropriately defend themselves in a lawful way. Overall an easy, enjoyable read, would recommend for just about everyone!
A thoughtful look at the 2nd amendment. I appreciated the way humor was used in a tasteful way to make it a light read while approaching serious subject matter. I enjoyed the format of looking at each of the individual words in the 2nd amendment and breaking them down individually. A light read, a serious subject, yet very fun and informaitve!
an interesting read. gives a good perspective on development of the laws and their interpretation and application.

Great book! Read a friends copy and had to get it myself. Great overview of self-defense laws!
